After some family left this morning, I headed up top for the rest of the maple, it's all stacked except for the uglies. I started on this pile (pic 8155) then pushed in some wood, did I mention the camera was left (forgot) at the house.
Yes it is, but we have a cold front coming in that could give us some wind gust of 60 mph, Sunday night & Monday could be real chitty.
Looking good there Woody! (Im looking out my door right now and the moon is huge!) Batton down the hatches, these storms are gonna get nasty.
Those are some good looking mountains of maple splits. The good part about stacking is that after it's done, ya don't have do anything else with it for a year or three. New stacks are left for air and sun to their drying magic and all you can do is look at and admire them.

Nice work woodlands! Nice pics as usual. I hope you don't end up with anymore blow downs this time. Don't work to hard. I see some rain is coming in for sure the next few days.
Yes, it looks like we'll get some nasty winds. I just hope if we lose some trees it's in the woods and not the brook, it would be cold working in there this time of year.
