I've got a box getting ready for you ............ I'll see if I have a new one to throw in for you to give a run with.

I'm not a fan of them .......... I preferr the double bevel first, then the triangular 6 sided, then these single bevels

    Thank you my friend !!

What don't you care for with them besides the value stinks?

I haven't forgotten about the chains. Ones done just need to finish up the other.

They flex the most out of any file, I’m a little heavy handed

Guess I’ve got to go back and read this all from the beginning  but I just inherited some chains that might be a good trial for me to lay the file too. I’ll have to try it and give some pictures.

Here is why the triangular 6 sided file digs in ............ probably wont grab the strap as much as when its on a curve, but it digs into the driver then, and this is with .404, these pictures are all of the same tooth
    2017-10-31 18.00.37.jpg 2017-10-31 18.00.56.jpg 2017-10-31 18.01.12.jpg 2017-10-31 18.02.22.jpg 2017-10-31 18.02.11.jpg

Why I preferr the double bevel over everything else. Can even get away with .325 and a double bevel ............. although the single bevel really shines with .325, because it has the lowest cross sectional thickness and doesnt dig into the straps or drivers (depending on cutter alignment setup) as much as the others. NOBODY, and I mean nobody will be able to file .325 square with a triangular 6 sided and be better than a sharp round .325 full chisel

I don't have experience with either, but I accept your challenge if you send me chains and a file. I'll send it all back and shipping.

I'll send each one of you a loop of .325 along with a FAT triangular 6 sided square file (like pictured).
I'd love to know how you wizzards can fit that beefy mutha in there and have a chain thats faster than sharp round. I'm not talking silvey or ground, not single or double bevel either ............. I'm talking fat 6 sided

    This is 404 pictured

The riddle is easy to solve. Just get a stihl 3 corner & see if it's smaller. Or send me one of yours & I'll send one with these chains.

    I'll send you one !!

I've got a bunch of single and double bevel files that will work Sir, I was pointing out that the fatso triangular 6 sided has its place with 404, not 325.

You two chain wizzards are schoolin me on using that thick momma triangular 6 sided with 325 so its faster than round, yes ?
