Shawn showed me some basics on square filing today and left some samples for me to gaze at in wonderment. We might have run some quick saws as well with fast chains We spent more time talking and fiddling with saws than cutting, couldn't have had a better time. His 346 firewood saw (if you can really call this little demon a firewood saw). My 064 running for the 1st time with a fast chain and this super cool bar Shawn made for me. Dave
I want to play with the saw, but I think I want to play with that little walk-behind skid-steer more!
I have a chainsaw attachment for the skid steer but I have a hard time using it. It's only really good for bucking logs and has plenty of power but is awkward to use.
We can leave the cutting to the handheld saws. But I have a retaining wall to build in a tight space. A little unit like that would be fantastic!
it is a super timesaver and there are a billion attachments, I have the leveler (for grading and my cant stand), a couple buckets, forks, 36" auger, 48" rototiller, tree boom, forestry grapple, reese hitch for moving trailers, 30 gallon sprayer and of course my chainsaw
Do you want to keep the front of the cutter in front of the rear drive link rivet? Is there a benefit to staying in front of the rivet? Where is the sweet spot?
That's what I've been told. I don't have proof that's the sweet spot. I'll take em back to the line before I pitch them.
Was getting to much into the strap corner to corner. So I settled. I want to try some of that high tooth.
Your inside corner looks fine to me. I "try" not to get any higher. Only on a chain for durability I make sure I'm deeper.
