I am not sure really i have a lot of chains ,ithink it is stihl by the blue cutters, yes the rakes are too low i was experimenting with cedar seeing how far could go ,that is 3/8 i have most of my stuff set up for .404 now, i have a few klassic full skips in stihl the rakes are not long like this one, oregon look real close in shape of these rakes,it may be oregon also i had a roll of it also ,
I guess the word oregon on the tie strap gives it away huh ,the 440 that is known not to oil well on the internets got oil and dust all over the links
So for the hell of it I just called Timberline to see what the deal is with a square ground jig set up. They are currently developing a jog for ripping chains, but not square ground. I was hoping to get a jig that would sharpen these after a few hand files, just for a true up. Any solid suggestions on jogs aside from the $200 atop?
I am hand filing now, I just want a job or the true ups since the hand filing gives slight variance over time. Granted, this chain is not a machining robot at GM, but after a few hand files, it is nice to true up. Well done on your chains I must say.
