If they're all irregular enough, that should equal out to all the same in the end, right?

Sorry to be lazy and read through all 28 pages of this thread. I need recommendations on files for square chain. Thanks.

That's a good place to buy a single. If you want to buy 10 at a time autotoolworld.Com has the bahco in a 10 pack for $60~

Have you noticed any differences between the Bacho vs the Save Edge double bevel ?

Same blanks from what I can tell. There's a small difference in the way they're sharpened.

If they corners wouldn't chip eventually I'd do that. :(

Modified Jasha's chain a bit this weekend.. It may not have fared well in the chain comp, but he put so much work into it, I couldn't just chuck it..
Removed some tooth with the file, trued up the corners, rounded the guides, and a little sprinkle...
Still uses some power, but smooooooth....

And there are still 2 improvements left on the table...

Rakers are pushing the limits of too low right now.
    Sooo....
No touchy those... Maybe smooth the fronts a little more. Gullets could be cleaned now that I've taken some off the tooth, yes. But it really moves through the wood right now. I should time it against my other chain now. Just for grins...

Show me a pic of your chain links in a curve like going around the bar tip but tighter. Might be something else I always seen done and did on the goooooooood chains.
