Here is where I wonder about 404 RSL .................................
What do you think mdavlee and hedge ?
Would 404 square filed be faster or slower than .375 square filed on a real good (ported) 90cc saw ?
In what size wood would there be a trade off, long bar vs short bar ??

All the big time race guys run 3/8" except for bike saws. They get .404" or 1/2" chain.

    3/8 should be faster...
But the neighbor kid runs .404 on the 088 I put together for him.. Even to mill with... So I filed up a .404 chain to be run on that saw... I believe it will cut real good...

The video of the 088 with a 20" had .404" on it. It was round filed and pretty fast. I want to try a 20" on a ported 385 or 064.

When you guys get to the next level of making race chains. You will want to look for this stuff. Sold a bunch of it to the chain makers and real racers. ;)
Were talking guys that are looking for hundredths in chains and can test and see the difference in them. :bug:

By the way, the 76 chassis is not strong once nicked with a grinder...
Don't ask how I found this out...
