I have been in communications with David Dionne. He said he can get the Corinth 100% Softwood: Good Morning Orson, I will be able to get the Corinth 100% softwood they will be $250/ton cash or check. Thanks, Dave
Good to know...I called him saturday but he was with a customer and couldnt talk much. We had trouble with the Chevy truck and had to come back and get my Ridgeline which made it to late for us to get to Berwick and pick up some sample Crabbe....Too bad, the stove's been running for 2 days and would have been a good test. At 250/ton, I may just go for 2 of these to round out my stash for next year. It would be nice getting some local softies again since the one year that MWP produced them.
I believe that Scot L from MWP mentioned on this site that they were going to do a softwood run during this slow period.
Long Pong in Plainfield is selling Somersets for $250/ton this year. That's a great price. They were $290 last season.
Did you ever try the Platinum pellets? I gotta say, they performed extremely well for us. And a lot of people are repeating with them. It's a premium pellet, at $248 sale pricing. Dan
With the big $99 score many of us got at Lowes, I have no room but I'd figure something out if ScotL did in fact crank out some softies....
I'm flush with pellets right now over 6 ton , but I did manage to squeeze in that ton of Blazer's I scored .
Never did try those....maybe I will swing by and grab a bag. Unfortunately I just put in a bag on Tuesday
