Took my son to HD today to pick up a grill. I saw they had pellets out front so I went in to check. FSU@$259. I can't imagine they'll move very fast at that price.

Isn't that what they went for last summer/fall?

They went for that last year. I am looking for a ton for shoulder work. I can grab a ton of Sets for
$289 but to me, that is a waste at the beginning or end of the season. Great pellet for COLD weather. At $259, if I can find FSU in locally, that saves me both TIME and money. The $215-235 T pellets in NE are ancient history.....

Great price on the MWP there Larry

IMHO, the Spruce Pointe and LaCrete are priced backwards-both are top pellets but I think the LaCrete to be a touch hotter (and better bags-thicker). Also they both are priced steeper than I can get them in Berwick.

Overall those MWP are a solid choice at a great price. :)

I've seen big price differences around here for the same product as well. Blazers / BTUtiful in particular will range from $260 to $329 or even higher. Thought maybe it could be due to some shops picking them up for dirt cheap at the end of last season, so they don't have to charge such a high price to make a profit. Just a theory.

more plausibly though, it was the wholesalers dumping stock at the end of last season to clear out warehoused product that they would have to pay storage for all spring/summer/fall. In Blazers case, this was the situation. Also, some retailers may have done the same thing. Hey, Blazers are good.....if you guys can take advantage of those deals, why wouldn't you?!
