Well the boss decided to add two more trees to the take down list. They are big pines that are close to the house and make a huge mess in the gutters. Had thought about taking them out before but figured I would wait. So on the list to take down we have three good sized pines. All three are probably 20" or better. One dead sugar maple, one silver maple that is starting to rot one the bottom and a small dead pine. Should be lots of good wood and fun to be had.

I'm burning pine right now. I'm warm and it's perfect for shoulder weather.

Yes some of it is, I know a few local guys like Dex would like to take a load home. But much of what we cut and split will go to a charity of some kind. I am looking and asking around now for a family that really needs it. I would really like to find a family that is really trying but still needs help.

I know a guy at work that is getting up in years and beat Cancer last year that wants me to find him a cord of wood this Summer. He has a Quadrafire insert and only burns around a cord a year.

He probably lives less than an hour away from Canton (just south of Macedonia).

If we got 10 guys cutting and we each cut for an hour, that log pile will be history.
