    I enjoy the scent of hickory burning. And the smell of fresh split white oak.

    That's a great day HD! Nice to work that splitter for a bit I'm sure. :axe: I can't wait to have enough time to get busy again myself! High BTU's makes it even better!!

    I saved most of the bark but some of the trash in the bark I did burn in the pit and the whole neighborhood smelled ohoh so good.
    The bark will make some nice kindling

    Some of It was a little stringy but the splitter took care of it no problem, with the knoty stuff I was getting too many uglies so I started blocking that up with the saw so it was stackable

    These are six foot Pallet Pete pallets , ( I still have some to Pete for more racks as I need them) so first I cut uprights to 4 feet, set them on top ,screw them down with deck screws, put braces on them, and you have a pair of bookends, in my case two pallets 12 feet holds a cord, double rows, with air space between them
