    I am looking for a trailer stand with a flat foot that clamps on to the splitter. Where I do some splitting, to keep the splitter level I need to get the hitch area on the splitter less than 8 inches off the ground. Bolt on with a wheel are readily available but that is not what I am looking for. DSC01598.JPG This had a wheel but I took it off and tried to flatten the two sides.

    I took the bracket assembly off and did what I had planned to do originally. I had some 1/4" flat stock around in my junk pile, cut a piece 7" x 7" and welded it on to the splitter where the old plate was, welded it to that. It's real strong now, the old bracket was slipping and didn't seem very sturdy. Welded up and painted, this was the way to go!
