Hi all. I’m soon to be coming into a 27t TroyBilt splitter. I was wondering if anyone had ever modified this type of splitter to make it more like the pro models? IE: taking the blade off the piston and replacing it with a flat pusher, and replacing the foot plate with a 2way/4way blade.

Got side tracked, wedge is welded up but beam is on hold at the moment. Pro-tip, free steel ain't cheap.
