No rain today and not at work, so split about 1/3 cord. Needed to get it stacked because winter arrives tonight. Can't find a milk crate Backwoods Savage style, so used a short ash round for my ash. Currently waiting for the stove to grind down the coals for a reload and thinking about some additional ibuprofin. More cutting planned for tomorrow.
Nice looking pile of oak splits! I would be happy with getting that oak done this afternoon.. That would go for around $85.00 around here. Always good to think how much you saved for all that work.

Thank you all. This ash is for 16/17. We expect 1 - 3 inches snow tomorrow. Cutting in light snow will be better than hot muggy summer. The background stacks in pic 1 are white oak that will be stacked 4+ years next winter. Real eager to see how that stuff performs.

Tis okay Gark so long as that short ash fits your backside, or maybe the other way around. How much snow did you get. We only got about an inch here.
