Once you get it all SS Haftacut will you go on hiatus for the Summer or just start to accumulate more rounds?

Hiatus for me. I usually start accumulating rounds again in mid September. Just busy with summer stuff and projects. Come September, I’ll be ready to get back at it again:yes:

That makes sense. Some of the smaller stuff up higher is ready to burn. Just hadn’t made the connection yet. Thanks:yes:

Tolerated some rain showers today to be able to finish splitting my rounds pile. Feels good! Now to stack it:stacker:. I’m curious how much it’ll end up being. 7CECADBF-A3B1-4DBC-95F2-ECDBB1ADDDD3.jpeg

    That's a big pile. I'm guessing 8 cords

Me too. Let is know the final tally. When you finish up, can you take a ride over here and stack my 2+ cord of red oak splits? It'll go quick compared to that pile!
    Great work Haftacut

I had a pile like that once. It was 16 cord. I'm going to guess at least 10.

I hope it is ten cord! I fee like I had a good idea at one point but kinda lost track along the way. I’ll be sure to let you all know once stacked!

I think you’re probably the closest guess Jeff! Looking back at my posts, I think I have about 20 hrs of splitter time, and I’m usually able to split about a cord every 2.5 hrs. I’ll let you all know what it ends up being:yes:

We had had some cooler weather lately that has made for some great wood handling weather! Had about 2 hrs or so today to stack. May be finished. I have a guy who wants 4 cord of the stuff I’ve been working on, so I’m just going to stack it in the trailer for delivery. Gonna try and get some measurements to see what the final tally ends up being and how many cord ended up being in my last big split pile. I’ll keep you all posted:yes:
