I don’t have a jig for bucking smalls, but that is a great idea! Never thought of that, but I definitely need one. Thanks for the tip:handshake:

We’re gonna have to get you and Brad in a splitoff!! You two guys pick the month. 30 days nonstop should give us a winner. I’ll bring the beer.

Ok I can see it now. All the logs being brought on and bucked. Then once bucked getting them staged for the split off. Huge long line of bucked wood and start at one end and go to town. Haftacut do you split by hand?

I split mostly by hand. Knarly stuff and whenever i don’t feel like using the splitter is when I pull out the splitter. Thanks for the confidence but I’m sure Brads got me on this one!

go to the members section and view the galleries. Scroll toward the end and there is a member who built a jig for cutting multiple skinnies/rounds at once. Rather ingenious may i add.

5 hrs on the splitter this morning. Got a good sized pile of splits out of it. Will stack tomorrow or Saturday. 56764A3F-A339-4C68-825F-A95E8829841C.jpeg 12D40CF9-BC6C-4AD2-A31E-F73F934C13A7.jpeg 7312328F-AFA1-4D7B-B37F-4A532A482A9F.jpeg

Not sure how much longer I’ll be able to borrow my buddy’s splitter, so trying to make the most of it. [IMG]

Looks like you got a lot done! Nice looking stacks Kris:yes: We’ve had a couple cool days here in Michigan. Actually had flurries both days and I was told yesterday’s temps broke a record that had stood for 150 years! Nice weather for working with firewood. Hope you had some of it where you’re at too. I was able to run out today and stack a couple rows this afternoon from what I split last, and it only used maybe half of the pile of splits. Forgot to take pics:headbang:

That must be what is hitting us right now. Random flurries and temps below 40. :picard: I had to light back up for some warmth.

Finished stacking what I split the other day. First picture turned into second picture. Ended up being 2 cord. Now, back to the splitter. C7E68F33-F0D2-4637-B9C7-F0D3EE202384.jpeg E8F124AE-037B-495A-9159-0FC4423D0CAB.jpeg
