Spicy bacon wrapped chicken

    Saw this recipe on the local news one morning.
    First time I made it diced chicken breasts into ~2" chunks cut bacon into thirds wrap chicken set with toothpick.
    The Rub: 1/4cp brown sugar, 1/4cp sweet ground pepper(I don't think chile powder is that hot so I split it with paprika) and the cayenne to spice it up. Decrease as necessary for your needs
    Dredge bacon wrapped chicken in rub and grill till bacon is crispy.

    This time I just used chicken tenderloins and whole piece of bacon - easier.
    Some cheese stuffed jalapenos - wrapped in bacon of course:D
    Some white oak splitter dribblings for extra flavor

    GF just asked what I did different last night than the first time - she said they were a bit sweeter, but I actually used less brown sugar:drunk: beauty of these recipes...
    I think it was the white oak smoke - that stuff is heavenly
