Spark plugs

    I had some time to kill while waiting for a guy to show up for a maintenance appointment. I’ve had these spark plugs for over a year for when I get to it. These plugs have 170k miles on them and never skipped a beat even towing a fairly heavy trailer for the truck. Plugs have come a long way!     I guess fuel injection, ignition systems and of course fuel and oils have changed so much I remember changing my dads 69 396 chevy truck over to gm HEI and the yearly tune up went away the only part I miss about the old trucks is you only needed a 1/2,9/16 wrenches and a screwdriver to get them running again and maybe a pocket knife to scrape the points off :rofl: :lol: JB

    Gotta love iridium plugs. The old copper ones would last only 30k on some cars
