Southern Indiana Retail Wood Stove Changeout A retail wood stove changeout program is being announced for consumer members of Rural Electric Membership Cooperatives (REMC) in south-central and southern Indiana. The objective of the program is to replace non-EPA certified wood burning appliances with more efficient and cleaner burning EPA Phase Two certified appliances. The program begins August 1, 2014. Current residential electric cooperative members are eligible for the following incentives: Up to $1,500 off the purchase of an EPA phase two certified wood stove replacing a non-EPA certified wood stove Up to $2,000 off the purchase of an EPA certified gas or wood pellet stove replacing a non-EPA certified wood stove The webinar will provide retailers with information on program guidelines. Items to be covered include: Cooperative member eligibility How to apply for the program voucher Marketing materials branded with your company logo Equipment specification requirements Frequently asked questions You will receive a Retailer Participation Packet via e-mail along with sign in information for the webinar within 48 hours of registering for the webinar.
