Sounds nasty for tomorrow.

my plow driver did me a solid today! He finally got up our road about noon. I figured I would go shovel out the vehicles after he left. When I got to the back of the cars I saw he not only plowed the road, but also made a slow pass about 1 foot behind the cars and moved all the heavy stuff that usually gets left behind! If I find out who he is I will send him a $20 gift card for coffee somewhere. He made my day!

 

Got 11.9" of snow , Saturday the melting begins

 

Update : its only 30 degrees but the sun is shining bright so its melting already and I have a cement driveway again already

 

plows back out today. They had a 1 lane road open on most of the county roads at 2:30am when I took the wife to work. Calling for 61 degrees and rain for Sunday so we should be snow free by this time next week, providing the next storm they are talking about misses us!

 

Well from what I saw about that next storm, there is a chance we might get some more snow here out of it

 

Me too, To early for them to really tell where it's going to go

 

I'm still hoping for a good one coming yet this season.

They could also just angle the blade away from the edge while driving along the r/h side of the road. Either way, just a little bit of thought would be most helpful.
I musta been a bit ticked when I wrote that, and not thinkin' clearly.

 

Because I'm at the end of a dead end street there is a turn around out there that the guy has to clean out, he does a real nice job, and he pushes all the snow away from my driveway and there's never any extra snow in the end of it.

I have the same set up, but my driveway get plowed in and the other side of the road gets none, No houses there! He plows left to right. Driving in on this road, I'm the last one in on the right. How are you located?
The plow man is a real character. He plows at least 5 feet off the road on my side so I have several inches of sand to be removed from the lawn every spring. He drives down, stops in the turn around, gets out, turns the snow yellow, then proceeds to bury my driveway entrance. Only if I stand out there leaning on my cane, will he make some attempt not to fill in my yard.
