I’ve got some IBC’s that are 19 years old... frame is not rusted, but the plastic bladder bit the dust in just a couple years. Roundup makes them brittle after a couple years.

Great!! Somebody in Cheyenne just brought in a load of IBC totes, $80 each, soybean oil, rinsed once. I'm picking up my kiddo in Cheyenne on Monday from a weekend with my Dad & wife and hopefully can get them too! Suppose 2 will fit in my Duramax (silver bed toolbox behind the rear window)? They are 250 gal size.

I'll take pics if I remember and it works out, guy is not super helpful via text, said I could load them because they're empty  (pffft right,  ), not worth explaining why I'll need help to get them in and and need someone to hook and ratchet the straps for me. It's 20 minutes further from where I meet to pick up kiddo, so if not, not big deal. Said to message him when I get to Cheyenne on Monday and he would give me his phone # and address. :loco:

If your after food grade tell them you want to see the cap it had in it.... Red is NOT food grade contents... Most of the time Black is also not food grade.

Interesting... what color is food grade? Ours came with a glue compound, but we use them for water tanks for the garden... a high pressure water took most of it out...

Usually green with an fda label or stamp. I have almost never seen an honest food grade claim on the totes. A dead give away is no cap at all. They throw them away so you can't tell.....

I use a hotblast pressure washer before they come home and and it does work good! Cleans them right out!

Pallet Pete , I was thinking about you painting the tops of your tote-hausen. If you left them as is, then the gubbament oaf-ficials might grant you that wood shed approval. If you camo or shingle effect the tops, they might be too inconspicuous.

Now then, you could go all Rainbow Brite and force the issue more;)

I’m debating very seriously asking the high school if their art class students want to do paintings on the backs of them.

I think it would be cool from the walking trail!
