you just made me think of how old the mixed fuel in my can is. Guess I should run the new to me 2 stroke trimmer that mom gave me this week since she just moved into a condo. Gives me an excuse to test it out before putting it away as a backup. My 20V is much quieter to run!

If it's been sitting, dump the gas out and put fresh in. Just in case:yes:

That's my plan! Going to use it for a few weeks, then dump some of the synthetic fuel I bought with the chainsaw in it for storage.

Haven't decided for sure but will probably haul them out to where it is easier to wrestle them buggers.

You are definitely right in that the lower humidity is really nice.

Hum... I'm using up some gas that got mixed last March and will continue to use it until it is gone which probably means about December. We've never had a problem with old gas. However, I do always put Stabil in the gas when it is bought.

For sure the electric is quieter to run. We have a 40 volt model and it works great. I hate recoil starters...

If I use one of my good batteries I can do my entire property on a single charge. It's nice and lite too!

I got a 32v last year , I really like it , lite weight , does a good job on the lite trimming ,which is most of what I use a trimmer for , still have the 2 stroke for tougher jobs

sounds nice! I was looking at the bigger voltage ones, but all my batteries that my work pays for are 20v, so it only cost me $99 for the trimmer.

Actually, they have non ethanol gas at the county airport that they use for mowers. I often get it there.
But rules is rules! If it sits over a month, it goes into a 4 cycle to be burned.
