Out for a while today for some splitting and a bit of stacking. Ran the splitter for almost 5hours. About all I got the desire for at a time:rofl:  Pile is all oak. Stack is a mix of everything else. Nice weather. 30FEFA4F-DE2A-49E9-9400-5A50D2D1D077.jpeg 2114AA9B-A650-4AE3-80CE-022800359BA1.jpeg

Nice to have enough red and blue hd’s to alternate the color. Takes stack style to another level.

    Looking good Haftacut
How much do you think you split in a five hour session? Ive hand split for four hours and did a cord, pushing myself. I dont like doing more than a half though. Kinda hate having too many rounds on hand.

I didn’t stack the oak, so I’m not sure but It was quite a bit. Once the oak is stacked, I’ll have to do some measuring

I split with the fiskars for an hour this morning before the rain started in. Didn’t have time to stack it to see how much I got in an hour but that’ll be next. Any splitting the next couple days will be by hand till I get my new hitch In the mail and install it on the truck for towing the splitter. Any guesses on how much is in the pile? 338CE5C2-A685-498B-9E57-F9F7AFD88842.jpeg

Looks like 3/4 of a cord to me.
Wood just doesn't stack like it used to.
