Some Saw Cleaning

Had a nice rainy day up here...so was able to start cleaning up the garage...organizing...throwing away...and seeing what maintenance needs done. Started with tearing apart...cleaning..greasing...blowing out...and sharpening the Husqvarna 562xp..and the lil Echo CS-271t. Ready to go cut next week !


Sharp eyed observers will also note what's on deck for maintenance....

Can someone help me with wood ID?

Looking at the two pencils has me wondering what kind of wood they are , they are obviously two different colors.
I don't know what kind of wood they are because someone peeled off the bark.

 

One on the right is cedar, left is 100% virgin wood and made by the blind.
