    down in Fla we used to call spanish moss "redbug" moss, as it was usually lousy with these little red bugs that torment you when they get on you.

    love me some live oaks though one of my favorite trees, especially when they are dripping with spanish, reminds me of home

    #4 is not long leaf pine. If that picture was taken in Florida(and from the St. Augustine/Bermuda grass it probably was)
    It's Florida slash pine. Longleaf has an entirely different branch structure.
