I was outside cleaning out the back of the Rhino and the bugs aren't that bad today. With some of the temps this week around 75 and some days close to 80, they'll be out.
Mornings (and evenings )are usually a bit less bug infested although mosquitos do not adhere to this rule of thumb. They like to stay up late as evidenced at any evening bon fire!
I'm sure the skeeters are thick at night around here too. Our town treats certain swamps,streams and brooks to help keep the black fly population down, it helps out big time.
yooperdave Have you tried Buggins spray? Supposed to be all natural, no Deet, and works on keeping gnats at bay. I have gotten it at Menards in the past.
Just split 2 truck loads of red oak yesterday. I didn't think there was any bad smell. Just smelled like green wood.
