    I got ya.

I mean I can grind a chain on my cheapo grinder but should not even come close to the machine they have at a chain factory!!

I guess being off by a degree or two on an angle can make that difference.

Whats holding you up? I'm on 10-12 chainsaw sites and learn different stuff on each one.

As Mike said, the operator is everything. Keeping the wheel/wheels dressed, good coolant flow/nozzle position, etc. This is no matter what industry you work in.

For example, say we both run a lathe. The fit, finish, and tolerance may vary slightly from one person to the next, on the same exact part (proper tooling, speed of head, amount of material removed per pass, etc) Some people are just better at certain things. Some people go to work for 8-12 hrs just for a paycheck. Others go because they enjoy their job, are good at what they do, and make a good living doing it.

Had I known what these were gonna be? I would have bought two of them.. :(

And I still love my 362C-M. This isn't a 362 bashing thread. The amount of money I have into the 362, is besides the point. I just bought an OEM 3/4 wrap for it as well.

Now I just need some wood to cut :( My log guy quit selling log loads....

He still sells logs. Just not enough money in firewood for him to do it.

I might just happen to be able to get one today with the 372 to compare to.

That Solo is a running bastard huh?

    :bug:

It took me three tries to get really good gains from a Solo 681......so I'm really not at all surprised.

That 362C-M is a great runner as well and I love it! But that Solo is a machine! !

Anybody run the midsize (77-ish cc) saw in the lineup? How does it compare to the 65cc and 81cc versions?

Not yet. I will run mine against the 372, 046, and 7900 when I get them all together. I kinda borrowed parts from both for the 7900 project.

    I think he's asking if anyone's ran a 675?

I think he was. I've run the 7300 and they're not that far behind on power. I'll start another thread here shortly with some videos and stuff from today.
