OK, still have one left! So, if it does not go in the next couple of days, I'm going to put a 681 top end on it, have it ported by Randy Evans and put it up for sale!

That's about what I would do with it too! Wish I could swing another saw right now.....

Well that sounds like a way to install a little more equity in it ;)

That would make a good 5 cube race saw:chef:

I agree, that is why so many of them went to saw racers on the west coast. One guy took two to make a 4 cube and a 5!

Dewey, I am proud that you are pleased with the saw and the deal!!! How does the saw feel in your hands with (how long is the bar) mounted? I have a 7900 Dolmar and was wondering if it handles like the Dolmar?

Ya Know, the more I look at that saw, I should have kept one for myself, oh well!

That's a 20" bar mounted in the picture. This is the first of the Solo and or Dolmar/Makitas I've had in my hands so the closest I compare it to today is my 372xpw. It feels a little heavier than the Husky. It feels well balanced with the 20" Forester bar, but I'd be interested to see how it feels with a lightweight Total or Sugi or such.

Mine came today, but no one was home to sign. That's a mean looking set up. Glad I went with the same bar combo
The Total will be going on my 362C-M.

I can't wait till tomorrow

Ordered straight from Forester site. Was pretty cheap and they are not terrible bars. The black and red look especially good on the Dolmar and Solo saws.

I sold this bar with the Dolmar last week.. I just checked tracking and my new one was delivered today :)

For the 665? It would run a 24" with full comp. If you had to run a 28"? It would probably do so with full skip chain and let it self feed. My BIL has ran a 28" on his 562xp and it didn't do as bad as I thought it would. Granted it was full skip, but 28" is a lot of bar.
