Came across a source for NOS Saws Solo 665 saws, brand new no B/C with warranty. This is the same basic saw as a Solo 681, stroked crank and all. Just a 65cc model instead of the 81cc model, however you can put the 81cc top end on the saw and have an 81cc version. The conversion is a simple bolt-on opporation.

Only a limited number available, <10! Price will depend on the size of the order.

If any interest send a PM.

    These are sexy looking.. :)

Now the question? Do they run better than their Dolmar counterparts?

I thought you weren't a fan of gray paint! LOL Well as far as run better than a 6400, the Solo 665 version has the 1mm stroked crank and has a closed quad port cylinder. and is 65.9cc. So, tons of room to play around porting the saw.

They are actually a sheep in wolf's clothing. Same saw as a 681 with a 65.9cc jug. 681 jug will bolt right on, or a Dolmar 7900 with a 1.5mm spacer to compensate for the stroked crank.

Lots of two or more only, there were 9 I already purchased 2 so there are 7 left. Some days you get the bear and others the bear gets you. OH well there will always be more.

I am biting my nails on this one....

What is the difference in stated HP between the Dolmar 6400 and the Solo 665?

(Edit: I looked up the Dolmar. The 6400 is 4.7 and these are 4.9 )

So these are PHO? Can one of those sexy bars be located anywhere?

If I didn't work so much, I wouldn't have this disposable income. So I blame my job...

They are just rebranded Oregon like all the rest. Don't know, I never buy saws with bars, too expensive to ship. I don't even sell bars, you could have 100 hanging on the wall and 8 out of 10 guys that walk through the door just gotta have what you aint got. No profit in that kind of foolery.

Mikita owns the Dolmar brand however the current Dolmars and Mikitas are all designed and built by Solo GMBH Germany!
