Or many other classics, 031, 041, etc.... Hell, my Homelite Super 1050 is an outboard clutch. I can't get it off to change out the sprocket either. (Need to make a tool for my impact I suppose), Hmmm, I just remembered why I don't like outboards, lol.......
I had the same problem with a 660 that was being used om a mill. Could not get the clutch off for anything. Then tried an old trick my father taught me, put the air wrench on the clutch hub and gave it three burps to tighten the clutch, then reversed the air gun to loosen the clutch, spun right off! Try it what have you got to lose.
Have to make a tool to use the air gun with it Tim! No hex on this beast unfortunately and doesn't line up with anything I have in the shop at this point.
