Third cord sold this year to my only original BL customer. Load one. Load two Stack before i loaded second half cord. One primo full cord left here. Main stack is 6x16' I have BL stored at a couple other locations. Pile after i unloaded second half cord. He had stacked some already. He gave me some maple chunklies he didnt want. I have three other BL regulars yet to call as well as some listed for sale.
Is this some of your BL @buZZaw BRAD? My wife is visiting her sister in Ridgefield, CT at the moment. Decided to see what firewood is selling for in that area. Kind of shocked how cheap firewood is in CT and especially in Newport, RI where I was stationed twice in the Navy.
Yup. Just posted that this morning. The stack in front of it sold yesterday so was able to get good pics.
Face cord delivered to a new customer who answered my ad last week. It was supposed to be a half cord but came to a cord of bark on in the stack and i dont mix them for the most part. I adjusted price accordingly. They had bought some wood already but as usual mostly not seasoned enough oak! She wanted two cords so will be dropping more after this current rain.
Guy answered my CL ad for a half cord of barkless. Delivered it this afternoon. Half cord (3'x16' stack) left at his location.
Another half cord out today. Same customer as post #168 above. They'll take more when ready. I can accommodate. Nearly 4.5 cords sold so far. One BL regular got high btu nuggets (some BL mixed in) instead. I have a cord of BL nuggets when he is ready. Couple customers yet to get their orders.
Contacted a customer who hadnt called yet. He was ready. Dropped his first half cord today. Third year regular. Amazing firewood he calls it. Uses a lot less compared to "normal" firewood. Three more loads to bring. Second should go this week before Sundays snow.
Are your orders coming in a little late this season? I hope you are getting a premium because that is beautiful, dry wood.
yes and no. It has been warmer here last and this year. This last customer took three cords last year and was just near the end of it when i contacted him last week. I usually let them get in touch with me although i did text a couple to check in.
Looks like colder temps and weather is coming! That will get people burning again. We only started burning for real the last two weeks.
Second half cord load went to the customer from post #173 above. He will getting another cord sometime in the next couple months. One half cord regular yet to call. My friend wants another half cord soon and i have some bark on for sale on CL. Nearly 5.5 cords sold.
Half cord load of barkless delivered to a friend of mine who loves BL since i turned him onto it. Wood was CSS Sept. of 2021. Stacked in his shed. Ill bring more to top it off. Slowly abandoning this area at storage as its always muddy. I can only get in there when dry enough or frozen. Froze up enough in the last week.
