First time customer from last year texted and wanted a half cord. Sold him bark on last year. I normally wasnt doing half cords, but he was only three miles away, so i sold him one.

Only had access to my barkless stack so he got a treat this year. (muddy yard and cant get to bark on stack :picard:) He has actually hoarded some BL and burns it in his fireplace. I encouraged him to get an insert or stove. He wants to be a regular for it. IMG_2405.JPG IMG_2404.JPG

Load five went Sunday. With all the rain and holidays he wanted to delay the next load. Last load should go this week IMG_2422.JPG IMG_2421.JPG

Nice looking load Brad. That'll be one happy customer (if winter ever shows up :picard:) Are you running out of barkless yet?

I have at least another half cord of barkless right down the street where i have 4-5 of only BL stored. The rest is bark on from a late Spring score. Tempted to move that elsewhere and fill it all with barkless. Holds 4-5 cords. Its where i have been staging the barkless rounds. Pretty sure i lost a regular customer. He balked at the price increase. Figures as he has a real nice place and a BMW in the driveway. I have more barkless but its in the backyard at storage in Wallingford and need frozen ground to access it. Full cord yet in the front yard but a good friend will get 2/3 of that soon. Thats the three cord rack.
Always a logistical nightmare as you know!:picard:

Do not worry about a lost customer. Those who don't appreciate quality can buy from someone else and once they do, there is a decent chance you'll hear from him in the future. I've dealt with plenty of people like that through the years. They hear a price and think all firewood is the same.

Well he was one of the first three i sold to two years ago and really appreciated the product. Plus he was the closest too. Most of the others are farther than i normally deliver. If i end up having extra no worries...it'll roll over to next year. I have an oak customer who likes to remove the bark when he stacks it. I gave him some BL to try last year and he liked it. Still have to deliver his next half cord so ill try and push it on him.

I think i did 8.5 or 9.5 cords last year inc. bark on. 6.5 so far this year.

Last load went late today. He wants at least two cord next year. IMG_2434.JPG IMG_2435.JPG Last row. Whats left here is mostly bark on and not ready. Was in a pinch in the Spring so here it went. May get moved to start with empty racks. I dont mix them. Its either one or the other when sold. IMG_2436.JPG

A one cord customer for "normal" wood wanted to space out his cord deliveries as he hates stacking. I talked him into a half cord of BL to fill out the cord for a little extra. Delivered late this afternoon. IMG_2516.JPG IMG_2517.JPG Hoping he takes a liking to it. Half cord left in the three cord rack. I want it gone so i can start filling it up more. Friend of mine will be getting it soon.

buZZsaw BRAD, I may of missed it, but what are you getting for a cord of BL in your neck of the woods?

Regular customer called for more BL. He's my BL nugget customer. Sold him 1.5 cords of BL nuggets this season. Also bought a half cord of "normal" btu nuggets at the beginning of the season. IMG_2635.JPG IMG_2636.JPG His wife told me to unload them into their trailer. Will his quad be able to haul this? IMG_2637.JPG

Can’t recommend it, but I’ll bet it’ll haul it

Might wanna add some air to that trailer tire but it should have no problem moving it.

Shocked to get a call Thursday from a third year repeat. He usually gets just a cord but may want 2-3. I can accomodate. Pulled first half cord from storage yesterday and it goes out tomorrow morning. All barkless. IMG_3894.JPG IMG_3895.JPG

Looks like a very generous half cord.

Tight half cord as i call it.

I have a three cord stack...6' high x 16' long. Triple row. I mark 3' from the bottom and load the top half. The rest may go tomorrow as well. Tightly stacked too, but loose thrown in the PU save for a single stack closest to the tailboard.
