Soap Stone vs Steel Stoves my observations

    Only made it 1.30 in. Knew my answer before starting. While I’m all onboard for making stoves more efficient I draw the line at electronic interaction. Moving too far away from the best of the old ways at that point.
    Besides, what happens if I stuff a 20%+ in there? Nasty phone call from my stove? I’ve got enough trouble with my car warranty.

    Modern wood furnaces and boilers are electronically controlled too. It’s fine. If power goes out, the controls all default to minimum air to prevent over fire.

    I think it would have to revert to manual control though. Seems like you'd want a working wood stove when the power goes out.

    Good point. I also want a working refrigerator, lights, well water, and television so the generator comes on.
