I'd use a 3/8 knap roller. You'll probably hafta slop it on pretty heavy to get it to cover the backside where it runs over top the framework...
I really want to powder coat the ramps but I havnt got a quote yet I dont know if thats truely better than paint BUT I have had a few powder coated items swtting outside for at least 10 years and not a spec of rust yet. Brutal winters, heavy rains, hot summers, sunlight and me abusing them... It made me consider the option anyways...
I’m asking a different company I found today about sand blasting it so it depends on that cost. There’s a good chance I’ll be wire wheeling it like it or not. I’m not gonna spend much more on the trailer aside from the deck and bolts for decking.
I don’t think I can slide the gate off with those on it. Those where one of the first styles I saw at the trailer shop and that would be much safer than a loaded door spring... I want the gate to be easily removed though.
Well that answers that $200 quote to sandblast guess is wire wheels and hand paint o well it will look good when I’m done...
Finished the emt tonight and started wire wheeling the frame. There we s one tough coat of epoxy paint on it with rust busting through in spots. Giving me a workout lol...
Looks like one more section of angle to install on the front rail of the bed and I think I have got a fancy cup holder idea that will be attached on the back side of the tail lights yes cup holders gonna happen... I should be on to painting by the end of the Thursday night if not sooner.
