All good here Pete, just very busy with a lot of small projects that didn't get finished for about 19 years.

I'm conjuring up a good breakfast idea for tomorrow morning.

It looks like you may be seeing a light at the end of the tunnel on the bathroom project.

    That's lookin' gooder Pete.
I like that it's not a true running bond. I hope that was on purpose.
    Looks good even if not.

I am making it random on purpose if thats what you mean by running bond. It uses less tile with very little scrap which is good because this tile was discontinued at some point and we cleaned out 3 stores clearance for it:thumbs::thumbs: I dont want to run out!!:hair:

The good news is doing it random means we have 6 boxes left which should be enough to finish the floor with a couple boxes left. :dex:

    Always nice to have spares.
Saw a very interesting wood floor system on Matt Risinger's channel yesterday. A guy came up with a way to put it down, interlocking, but also able to pull one piece out with a suction device for a repair.
Well, it was interesting until I found the price was about $24 sq ft. That's when I lost interest.:dex:

I love the random sizes - that will definitely look sharp when it is done!

That guys YouTube channel is awesome! I watch it a lot.

We wouldn’t have anything this nice for flooring without that clearance sale that’s for sure! Mama jamma that some pricey stuff at full price!

Thanks! For not having a clue what I’m doing it looks pretty good:rofl:

My neighbor was a professional flooring guy for a long time and he is a book of advice! Good advice at that! He came over tonight and helped lay a couple rows too.

Just dry for the closet looks like the rest of today will be mortaring the floor.

I’ll worry about the drywall cleanup after the floors down.

No it’s all dry fit in doing the mortar and sticking down tiles now. I dry fit then numbered each tile so it’s easier to do the mortar portion. Just finished the closet and man my knees feel it:whistle:

Now I’m on to the front half I dry fit yesterday.
