Part of a stack from a couple years ago. But it was a neat Christmas morning with some snow cover and freezing fog.

Those white outlines were from the freezing fog or hoarfrost they call it. I thought it was pretty cool so I had to post it. I did nothing, just mother nature

That's what it looks like, frost. But I've never seen frost and snow before. I don't think. That's weird.

sometimes we will get a thick layer of hoar frost on top of snow and on the trees. Frost is a neat thing whether pushing up through the dirt, on the trees or on the grass on a fall morning and on snow. Its fun to run your hand across a snow layer and knock down a thick layer of frost.

I have a tall lab, Molly, who went out today. She had a hard time pushing a path in the snow. She wasn't able to climb over the snow bank the plow made. Still snowing here. Funny to see the snow several inches high on top of the bird feeders. Still snowing now, but not as hard as it was yesterday. Snow already slid off the metal roof on the lean to. No warm up anticipated. There is talk about yet another nor'easter in the making. All those folks who built homes near the beach or on soil by the ocean are in for some costly repairs. Those who put their home up on the rocks seem to be ok. I don't know how the Bush estate on Walker's point did. It was flooded out once before that I know of.
