Still holding onto to 14"-24" here. The storm may extend slightly south for those below the heavy stuff line.

Yeah with a flash freeze when it's done. I was wishing for snow and lots of it!

LOL... well, the R & D continues. The arm and head seem to be fine. The area needed to maneuver the JD is one of the issues, along with the time to set up the arm (have to take it apart every time, no room in the garage). I'm still thinking about a telescopic arm. Would cut the amount of tractor room needed by 75%, at least. I made a small avalanche head for the ole roof rake handle, and I'll use that to clear the 4' edge of the roof. Every once in a while, gravity wins... :headbang: :D

Snowmobiles seem to be a bit more forgiving than small 2 cycles. My sled will start and run with 1 1/2 - 2 year old fuel stinky fuel topped off with new stuff- about 1/2 and 1/2. Pre start I dumped some 40:1 straight in the cylinders and gave it a couple short cranks with the plugs out to help get some kind of prelubrication on dry cylinders.
Electric start helps. I think it has to do with summerizing turning the fuel off and letting it die. My jet ski was the same way.

You may get lucky with the Chaparral and just be able to drain the carbs from the really bad stuff and moisture.

It has torn fuel pump diaphragms on the carbs (Mimuni BNO's) they're kinda like jet ski carbs.....last time I rebuilt them was in 2003. I have new kits ready to install.

Duct tape them! Cool on the kits! Those sleds don't look too bad to work on. Darn Polaris 1997 no room behind the carbs - knuckle buster.

Stinny I had to go to Jackman and Greenville and then Farmington and Rangeley fo work last week. Jackman and Rangeley are both buried, Greenville has plenty and Farmington looked to be in decent shape. Caribou tomorrow, luckily everything is inside for that one.
