Looks as though we're snapping right back to rain reality too Scotty Overkill ... our decent 12" of power/granule snow on Sunday, with wind chill temps way below zero now, is gonna get a dump of rain Thurs... :headbang:... I always crack up when the local news folks go on and on about how nice it's gonna be on Thurs (40 degree temps)... as that rain falls on all ground/surfaces that are long frozen solid... :picard:... what could possible go wrong.

I was at work in Boston and had 1/2" ice covering my car.. At home it rained 3 inches.. Right now my backyard looks like a small swimming pool..

Well, that was a fun winter, looks like nothing but cold and bare ground for the rest, time for indoor projects until the lakes unfreeze enough to paddle

Still recovering from this rain snow event two days ago, roads flooded out, ice jamming etc.

Another potential for a decent storm Tues into wed. We'll see

My drive is a frozen, rutted mess. I was hoping it would freeze before we needed to drive out, but nope, slushy mess, then it froze. I scraped it a bit, but don't feel like raking stone back into the drive come spring.

I am not a fan of thaws until spring.

Weather guessers are saying something about up to 10 inches of snow Sunday into Monday with a low on Wednesday of -25. Gotta love winters in Wisconsin:hair::shiver::shiver:

Just noticed that one of my stacks sunk in the mud during the torrential rain following the snow and tipped over.

I got to watch a tower drop like that about 25 years ago. It was unbelievably lackluster.
Still fun to watch! We were watching from about 300 feet away.
