Kick azz day today gas! We still have snow here and there, but I was able to finish raking the yard from the leaves from fall. The snow started so early this year, I couldn't finish. Sooo, its beginning to feel springlike around here.
Diced and loaded. #2 out of that nice Ash tree. Still have the top of it, should give me a half load. More snow falling.
If I purchase anything else it would be a mistake! Time to earn some money, work with what I have, and get a couple things paid off!
Hope to get back at the wood cutting tomorrow. Getting close to saying I have enough for next year. There are places I am leery to go though, the snow is still deep in areas when you get away from the trees and out into areas where the snow fell straight through all winter and the wind dumped it there as well. The area I have been working on the road was somewhat protected and the ice layer under the snow is still strong enough to hold the tractor up with the wood in the back! Of course there is 4-6 inches of hard snow under it to help out! So I will have to be careful where I chose to go after some Ash tomorrow. I do not want to be digging a tractor out!
I had my son with me and I did not want to be tempted. I said hello to the guy I see at The Wood Chop Shop here in Ogdensburg (C.R.S. kicking in on his name.) and made some small talk and moved on. So I can not really say. Have not really looked closely at them. I think he said they have sold six units already between the three stores. Not a bad start, they have only had them for a week or two!
