The Quonset hut was pretty much full of logs and splits at one time. Been trying to empty it out to pour concrete floor.

We have gotten some snow but the total is much lower than average in my lifetime. We will see what March brings, either warms up quick or it’s several big storms. I’m hoping for the latter. However, working a new job has me outside a lot more. I like winter for recreation not so much for work. :shiver:

My work is outside and I’m feeling good about the rest of the week. Probably done with snow stack chances.

Picked up another 4” tonight. This stack was a remnant from what filled the woodsheds in the Fall. About 16” of snow.

Any pics of snow, are a good thing. Wood stacked for the winter, ready to go, covered with snow, a double positive!

I have room for ~12 cords. There's racks there for ~11.

Most of our firewood is under cover in the wood shed. This has been sitting outside for quite awhile but as it is yellow cedar, no harm will come to it if it is outside for a few years. Anyway, I took this picture this week. It is kind of funny - family and friends on Facebook didn't see the beauty in it.

Horkn, wondering about your shed.... Do you put fresh split green wood in that shed, or is it wood that has already been processed and drying? If you pack green wood in that tightly ,do you get good drying by the time to burn that bay?? I believe you said it was 5 cord per bay, assuming one bay per burn season, so 3 year plan.
