Got my self together for the winter on-slaught. We can push it in piles and take care of the ice too.
I like what you did with your bucket. Last year I kept my Loader on instead of the blade. I was impressed with its ability.
Yup, I'm a welder/fabricater by trade. Put them together about 4 years ago. 4 bolts hold each side on, gives me a 6' bucket. Sander was a new edition this year. Tired of so-called contractors who show whenever they feel like it, if at all. I can push and stack it 3 times faster than I could backwards blow it. I've got lots of room to stack it.
just about have everything ready to go. trucks and plows are set, one carb on a 8 hp blower needs to be cleaned. Finally succumbed to epa fuel. another 2 stroke ,coil went out new coil on just got stick the trimings back on it. I do have to go buy some new shovels, plumb wore the ends off of the current ones ( not just the metal edge either) Got to check the salters they are working but some times you get problems under load, mostly bearings that are ok free spinning but bind up with a load on them.
Loader is very cool, You should be combing CL for a snowblower for it however. They are absolute animals in the snow with a blower. And if you happen to stumble across a blade for it, the quick hitch for the blade/blower is the same. If you have the quick hitch, the blower, blade and broom all use the same setup. The blade will require another hyd cyl for power angle. It's also a very quick/easy changeover amongst any of the attachments. A very, very useful tractor indeed. Snowblower/Broom driveline is common to all 2WD X4/X7 series tractors IIRC. (X465, X475, X485, X495, X700, X720, X740) Also, if you can't find the attachments separate from their quick-hitch, you can sell off the quick hitches to re-coup a sizable portion of your $$.
