Yes, i totally understand that it sounds hysterical to you folks who get lots of snow! Just as much as hearing yall talking about getting feet of snow makes me nauseous! Schools let out early today before it even started snowing..literally nothing was falling. And some of these areas were in the 1-2 inch band. I know yall are just shaking your heads. But on a happier note, we did get out before dark after it started snowing pretty good. My little girl (4 yo) looked like the kid on the Christmas Story, and loved it falling! And thats the only reason I'm ok with any snow at all! Hahahaha

Im sorry! Go Hokies! Yeah, at tech snow didnt matter either. But in central va, schools are gun shy of having buses on the road with inclement weather.
Same here, 50 minutes south of VT, in the mountains. Growing up out east on LI, we went to school with a foot + of snow on the ground.
Not bad; most of it melted but did get some accumulation. Pretty and not an issue, that is the way I like my snow.
