Hopefully if the salesman is correct I won't get any snow. When it's supposed to snow you park it in the driveway and the snow is afraid to land. It looks ok, as far as modern stuff goes but it's definitely not the beast of yesteryear. Had to do something different as plowing has never worked well with the crushed stone driveway. And the dock area..........ya ever get a fork truck stuck!
About 35 years ago the company I worked for moved into a new building. One of the managers went to pull a sign out of the center of the new grass area in front of the building with a 6k forklift. After driving down the 4 day old concrete path, busting it up good he shot off the path into the new sod. Soooo the wrecker came, first one then another and they had to drag it out the other way sideways. As it's happening the the big wigs from the UK arrived from O'Hare and the photographer to take pictures of the new building showed up. All this was a couple of days before a trade show opened and people would be invited to see.......... Oh and the wrecker had to take the forklift with as it was packed with dirt.
He was hired as management! Book educated ya know. Later figured out he drank all day every day. So much so he got his POS car stuck on the railroad tracks and fell asleep. A slow freight train ran into him crushed some vertebrae but he survived. he also took the company pickup without asking and totaled it on a power pole. He had 3 or 4 people with him, on a weekend in another state. Injuries and lawsuits......

Put the new paddles on my older SS522 and received the aftermarket paddles yesterday but haven't had time to put them on yet. Got .5" last night so took it out and what a difference. Granted this was super dry light snow but nice the paddles were pulling me along like as if it was self-propelled. Hope to get the other ones on my 322 and see what it looks like. Would have been a perfect snow to take it out for a test drive, but I'm sure there will be more.
The engine on my Troy-bilt siezed up. Some stupid oil plug loosened/fell out. Grr.... So, I ended up replacing it, this past Tuesday, with a used Ariens, from the local power shop. First time using an Ariens. Looking forward to use it cleaning up after Fern.
I've had my Ariens for about 20 years. It has been pretty reliable. Had to replace the carb a few years ago, but that's become the norm thanks to f'n ethanol
I need to cross state borders to get E-free. Just none in the area except for by the quart/gallon with crazy $'s.
Speaking of E-Free what states in NE can you get it? I'd road trip once or twice a year for 20 gallons of E-Free
