Smoking with grape?

    I got my hands on some grape, but I don't know much about smoking with it. Any info would be great.

    I would chip or chunk it up and soak before adding to the smoker or grill. Mild like Maple & Beech which is exactly the way I like it.

    Your a lucky man! very cool! :cool: We have a small grape arbor in our yard but only pruning's off of it, no real size wood. Let us know how you like it when you do something! :yes::)

    The chunks are about 3 inches in diameter. I read you have to use it sparingly because it can get pungent, so I'm unsure what meats to try it on. I did a Boston butt last week using plum and it was awesome. I might try another one with the grape. Will keep you posted.
