If anyone sees a great Christmas sale on smokers, then please let me know. I am considering picking up one if it is dirt cheap.

What kind of fuel are you looking to use? Electric, propane, wood, or charcoal? There are usually pretty good deals this time of year.

EVENTUALLY! ha ha. Right now I may want a small portable smoker for the winter/spring. Something I can keep on the porch. (Hey, I can always line it. ;)) Walmart has a cheap Kingsford smoker for $40.

And just for the record, I know this isn't exactly cheap, but look at the Weber Smoky mountain cooker. They are WELL worth the extra $ instead of a cheap one IMO. If you wanted to sell it, you could get most of your $ back....people freakin' love these things! They are as close to a "set it and forget it" type of smoker as one can get. No jacking with the fire every 30 minutes like some other units! 12 hours on a single load of charcoal is possible.
