Just noticed a speck of light coming from the T on the back of my furnace. Single wall about 10 years old. Anybody else had this happen? Guess I better stop after work tomorrow and get a new T and maybe a telescopic pipe.
10 years huh? You are doing better than most...I had to replace the regular black stove pipe every 2-3 years...have stainless now, one n done.
We have been using the same pipe for at least 5 or 6 years, maybe 10, I don't really know. It's still solid.
For me, not much...I found out about a lil amish metal shop near here that sells SS for just a bit more than what I was paying for steel pipe...just FYI, I think that most doublewall stovepipes are SS on the inner wall...
