I have an Echo 3510 and a 25cc Chinese top handle ($100). Both are excellent.

I started to get one of those top handles but there were so many, I didn't know which one to get.

They are very handy and have their place in your saw arsenal.

I've seen them priced from 90 to 150. Are they all basically the same or are some better than others?

    What brand? New or used?

I own Stihls...MS194t and MS201tc. 194 bought new and the 201 maybe had a tank or two of mix though it. Both are not cheap, but i myself like lots of others here like our pricey pro model saws. IMG_3420.JPG

I was talking about the cheap Chinese ones on Amazon and ebay.

I have no experience using them whether top handle or not. Maybe post a thread and im sure there's a member or two that has some input.

If you will use it on rare occasions i dont see a problem. Just my 2c

Cut them down with the Stihl as well as the main trunk then all the rest with Echo.

12 minutes with the echo to limb out and cut up the top. Everything from 1.5" on up is in 12-16" pieces.

I didn't time this one but the Echo makes quick work of anything uo to 8".

True. Bought new and not intended to get another top handle until the 201TC came up for $375 and it looked like it wasnt even used. I couldnt pass up that deal.
