Welcome aboard fellow Harman pig. It seems to me that you have 2 stashes to protect....I would be on the lookout for the white van, if it cant drive straight then you know which stash to protect first :)

It is a blue van but it has auto-magic chameleon mode. That always is a different color than you think it is, it's a quantum physics thing.

hmmm....I like the fact you went to the extra effort of putting a noncombustible panel in front to satisfy the 6" clearance spec, good on you for that, buuuuuutm man, that exhaust pipe connection isn't exactly secure......lots of goobery rtv isn't the right way to connect to a liner,,,,Id mention THAT to the installer as well

I made that panel out of 1/2" cement board and 16 gauge cold rolled steel. The building inspector was impressed. Here is a better shot of that dodgy tee. P1010463.JPG
Good luck with the colonoscopy.I've had two of them and they're not to bad.

Is the red RTV used to seal the factory seam?

I had to do that on my Quadrafire install. Some of the Pellet vent pro seams were a little leaky..

    Hello
Insulation in gaps does not cut the mustered! They need to take the plate down and install a good layer of 100% fire proof Roxul insulation above the block off plate to stop the heat converting up thru!

I am a fan of fancified (insert verb)uppers. I have a fancified shower handle, courtesy of ViceGrip and a fancified vent cover on the roof courtesy of folgers coffee.
