    I keep a bucket of sand for ice around the house. Couple handfuls tossed and it's a non-issue.

    What I meant is if you live on sandy ground there is no problem. Only rarely in the wooded parts is there mud to contend with.

    This year was the first year I spread ashes. Ice was everywhere. Took a good spill myself. Was at least a week I couldn’t walk out of my property. Had to drive the atv to the mailbox. Still I wouldn’t change it for the world, it’s good to have seasons.
