Single wall stovepipe

    Dennis my one buddy had it for his house.......now granted, he DID A PROPER INSTALL in regards to clearances from combustibles etc. The casing pipe was outside....

    But I STILL don't like the idea of using it on a living structure....I can't imagine his insurance Co liking it either.....

    As I look at the placement of where the stove will go tonight, there may be a solution with the placement.
    The Oslo never had a heat shield and was away from the wall a bit. I may be able to make the last turn on the pipe a 45 deg. elbow vs. the 22.5 I have now if I install a heat shield on the IS and back it up towards the rear wall some and this may give the angle I'm looking for.
