I'm still burning fireside ultra. Only because that is what I can easily get, and they burn hot and clean for me. My P68 adjusts itself so I stay nice and warm. This new space of ours is well sealed and insulated. Double entry. Have to say it is comfortable except for the cooler tile floors. Need to start wearing slippers.

Bag of Blazers in the E2. Bag of Sets on deck for tomorrow. The E2 seems to blast the heat no matter the fuel. The heat exchanger is so much better than the old US Stove.

Went from Platinum to Lacrete after lunch. Both are good but LaCrete is a bit "gooder" :fire:

Same cheap chit here too. Both stoves are full of em. Have the Englander running hi/lo level 3 and the West Point running on/off level 1. A nice 70 throughout the whole first level.

Burning Vermonts because.. that is all I have in the stash. Wife off for a bit, told her to fire up stove during day. Her answer, nah that is what sweaters are for. (We are south facing and have a lot of glass so that yellow ball of fire heats us pretty well when out!) I am very luck in that regards. I come home its 62 and she is fine with that. So its a few pounds a night and dino juice as needed!:makeitrain":rootintootin:

62F ---- Whoa. If I let the house get that cold the loves temp would be boiling and mine would be freezing from the cold shoulder. 74F is considered cold in our house.

Wife likes 76-ish, My son and I prefer 72ºF. So we'll split the difference and 74ºF is the stat setting. And a warm throw for the Mrs left on the sofa. ;)

Coarse she has to fight the cats for it most times! They claim they are keeping it warm for her. :D
